Quality Systems Specialist for Metroselskabet

In response to the increasing complexity of our business, regulatory demands, and digital workflows, the strategic initiative of delivering a next-generation Quality Management system aims to redefine how we manage processes and quality across the organization. The outcome will be a new, digitalized system and way of working that is intuitive, scalable, compliant, and aligned with both current and future business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Co-lead the development and implementation of Metroselskabet’s new Quality Management System in close collaboration with the Digital Project Manager
• Act as Quality Subject Matter Expert, ensuring the new system meets internal business-critical needs and external regulatory standards
• Drive the transition from the current quality management system to the defined future state, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization
• Design and define future-proof processes that are adaptable to increasing project operation and maintenance complexity and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across units to ensure the system is integrated, user-friendly, and supports modern workflows
• Facilitate workshops, gap analyses, and stakeholder alignment activities to capture business needs and translate them into scalable processes
• Ensure system compliance with applicable laws, standards (e.g., ISO), and internal governance frameworks
• Safeguard the long-term viability of key business functions through robust quality assurance frameworks and digital support
• Contribute to change management and communication strategies to support successful implementation and adoption

About you

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality systems development, quality assurance, or process management—preferably within complex infrastructure, transport, or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of quality and process frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, risk-based thinking, continuous improvement).
• Experience working with or implementing digital quality/process management tools.
• Ability to navigate and drive initiatives in cross-functional and interdisciplinary settings.
• Proactive and visionary way of working
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
