Student Assistant – GIS

To help us reach this goal, we are looking for a student assistant to support the use and adoption of GIS and our ArcGIS Enterprise platform across the organization. The position offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world geospatial data in a high-impact environment.

Your Role

You will be part of the Digitalization Information & Technology unit and work closely with our experienced GIS specialists in the Information Management & Technologies team. Your tasks will include:

• Providing support to internal users of ArcGIS Enterprise
• Updating and improving user guides
• Assisting in the configuration of GIS applications
• Performing digitalization or data registration tasks in GIS
• Handling various ad-hoc assignments

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has knowledge of GIS principles—experience with ArcGIS is a plus
• Is structured, proactive, and able to work independently
• Enjoys helping others and can communicate clearly and patiently with users of varying technical backgrounds
• Has a positive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a service-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• You are about to start your master’s degree or have at least 1.5 years left in your studies
• You are studying Geography, Geoinformatics, Surveying Science, or a similar field
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience with geospatial data and ArcGIS Enterprise is an advantage
