Project Manager for External Mobilisation of New O&M Contract at Metroselskabet

Can you lead operator mobilisation in a technically and contractually complex setup?
Metroselskabet has recently tendered its upcoming Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract, with the expected start in September 2027. The new contract covers the full scope of metro operations and maintenance — a critical public service with significant financial value, complexity, and high visibility.

We are therefore looking for a Project Manager to lead the three phases of external mobilisation:
• Closure of the current contract period
• Transition between contract periods
• Start-up of the new contract period

This will involve a high degree of coordination between Metroselskabet and external suppliers.

About the Position
You will be employed in the Operation & Maintenance department and will take overall responsibility for the external mobilisation.

It is essential to ensure a well-coordinated transition between contract periods — including systems, data, and operational responsibilities. The mobilisation requires close coordination, clear agreements, and trust-based collaboration to ensure the incoming supplier is well positioned to take over from day one.

Your tasks will include:

• Project management of the external mobilisation effort
• Developing a joint mobilisation plan, target picture, and deliverables in collaboration with the steering committee
• Ensuring progress on agreed deliverables
• Identifying and mitigating business risks
• Planning and transferring systems, assets, and knowledge
• Establishing and maintaining constructive stakeholder relations
• Close collaboration with contract lawyers and technical specialists at Metroselskabet

The External Mobilisation Project Manager will work closely with a counterpart responsible for internal mobilisation, which you can find here.

Your Profile
We are looking for a project manager who:

• Has several years of experience facilitating complex transitions
• Possesses a strong understanding of commercial and technical interfaces
• Can deliver clear and credible communication — both internally and externally
• Has a proven ability to create structure and drive progress in complex processes
• Is independent and systematic

Experience with outsourcing, contract transitions, or mobilisation in technically complex environments is an advantage.
