As Senior Legal/Procurement Manager, you will play a strategically important role in Metroselskabet’s Procurement and Contract Management department. In this role, you will advise the organisation and lead procurement processes in close collaboration with project managers and technical specialists, in accordance with the procurement rules applicable to utilities.

Your responsibilities will range from developing procurement strategies and preparing tender documents to evaluating bids, conducting negotiations and concluding contracts. Your work will include complex construction contracts for civil works and transport systems, as well as the procurement of consultancy services, IT systems and other operational services.

The role requires strong legal expertise and commercial judgement, together with the ability to strike an appropriate balance between Metroselskabet’s interests, risks and the contractual terms offered to suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies for major projects and other procurement categories.
  • Advising on and conducting tender procedures in accordance with applicable procurement rules.
  • Preparing tender documents and contracts in collaboration with technical and commercial specialists.
  • Evaluating bids and conducting complex commercial negotiations.
  • Managing dialogue with suppliers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Contributing to effective, constructive and professional collaboration, both internally and externally.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the department’s methods, processes and tools.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Master of Laws (cand.jur.), a master’s degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law (cand.merc.jur.), or an equivalent legal qualification.
  • Has at least 10 years of experience in procurement law and construction law.
  • Has substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Has strong commercial acumen and experience in supplier negotiations.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, in Danish and English.
  • Enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration and builds strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
  • Actively contributes to a positive, inclusive and professionally stimulating working environment.

What we offer

You will take on a challenging role with significant responsibility in an organisation with an important public mission. You will join a department with a high level of professional expertise, dedicated colleagues and a strong collaborative culture.

The position offers excellent opportunities for professional and personal development, including work with international contractual arrangements, complex procurement procedures and major construction projects.
