Maintenance Specialist – Tracks
Do you want to help ensure a well-functioning, sustainable, and reliable metro and light rail system in Copenhagen?
At Metroselskabet, we are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our Operation & Maintenance (OPM) team, playing a central role in maintaining the tracks in our metro and light rail systems. We emphasize collaboration, quality, and development – and we believe that diversity strengthens our solutions.
Your Role
As a Maintenance Specialist, you will:
- Ensure and improve the quality of track maintenance.
- Conduct inspections and follow up on track activities to ensure compliance with documentation and plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to optimize track maintenance.
- Contribute to improvement proposals and investment considerations based on data and insights.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety in all aspects of the work.
- You will play an important role in ensuring strong collaboration with our suppliers and shaping Metroselskabet’s future maintenance strategy with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
About You
We are looking for a colleague who:
- Works in a structured manner and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Has an analytical approach and a strong sense of quality.
- Communicates effectively – both with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Has a background in tracks, engineering, maintenance, or other relevant experience.
- Is proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Your exact background is not the most important factor; what matters is your willingness to learn, develop, and be part of a team where we succeed together.
What We Offer
- A responsible role in a dynamic environment, where you will have the opportunity to influence the future maintenance strategy.
- An inclusive work environment with room for new ideas and perspectives.
- Opportunities for professional and personal development.
