Project Manager for Internal Mobilisation of New O&M Contract at Metroselskabet
Do you want to play a key role in preparing Metroselskabet for a new contract period?
Metroselskabet has just tendered its new Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract, scheduled to commence in September 2027. The contract covers the full scope of the metro’s operations and maintenance — a complex, socially critical, and business-essential task.
It is crucial to identify what the new contract will change in Metroselskabet’s internal processes, procedures, and staffing. We need an early and clear overview of the contract’s requirements and assumptions, and we must ensure the organisation is fully prepared to deliver from day one.
To achieve this, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead the internal mobilisation — in other words, to prepare Metroselskabet as an organisation to operate under new contractual conditions.
About the Position
You will be employed in the Operation & Maintenance department and will play a key role in driving and coordinating the company's internal preparations.
In close collaboration with the steering committee and day-to-day management, your main task will be to ensure that the organisation is ready to assume its responsibilities under the new contract period — with processes, systems, and collaboration in place from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project management of internal mobilisation efforts across Metroselskabet
- Developing the overall mobilisation strategy and target vision in collaboration with the steering committee
- Mapping and anchoring critical deliverables and responsibilities
- Ensuring procedures, systems, and decision-making processes required by the new contract are implemented ahead of contract start
- Preparing and conducting steering committee meetings
- Ensuring strong coordination between the mobilisation process and ongoing activities
- Coordinating across disciplines and management levels
The Internal Mobilisation Project Manager will work closely with a counterpart responsible for external mobilisation, which you can find here.
Your Profile
We are looking for a project manager with:
- Several years of experience with large, complex projects — preferably within a politically governed organisation
- Practical experience with project and portfolio management, as well as organisational implementation
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to create overview and momentum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with infrastructure, public administration, or technical operations is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Application deadline: October 5th 2025
